When in 2019 Eliud Kipchoge ran a marathon in 1:59:40, he did so in a prototype of the Nike Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT%. This extraordinary achievement was the fruit of years of work, the culmination of the collaboration between Eliud and Nike, which began in 2017 with the goal of breaking the two-hour barrier in a marathon.
