PRODUCT STORY

Maximum propulsion, maximum responsiveness, and maximum speed – that’s what Puma engineered in this Puma evoSPEED Forte NITRO Elite track spike. Built for sprinting events of 400m and under, the racing shoe features a lightweight ULTRAWEAVE Elite upper infused with carbon fiber threads for a secure fit. Full-length layers of our NITRO Elite foam combine with our carbon fiber PWRPLATE to deliver power and propulsion from the starting blocks. Providing an extra boost is the Pebax outsole spike plate – featuring eight removable spike pin receptacles – and a special heel pad for superior grip, helping you maintain the high turnover needed to win your race.

Midsole maxes out 20mm, the maximum allowed under World Athletics rules.
Lightweight Pebax sockliner, cemented to the Strobel board for a cushioned fit.
Full Length, spoon-shaped, carbon fibre PWRPLATE provides exceptional energy return and torsional rigidity while offering optimal propulsion at toe-off.
Full-length Pebax plate for ultimate propulsion, designed with an innovative construction that allows for a better ground-contact feel but with fewer layers between the foot and plate.
Permanent Omni-Lyte Spike Pins; Lightweight 2 x 8 = 16 pyramid spike pins in 7mm length. This is the internationally allowed length and size for indoor and outdoor tracks and recommended for MONDO type track surfaces.
Secondary traction built into the heel of the outsole plate.
