“This special design is inspired by the track at The Armory in New York, which hosts athletes of all levels. Nike has taken inspiration from the original color of The Armory’s oval surface and painted it throughout the upper. The green accents are inspired by The Armory’s infield in the center of the court. The blue touches are based on the warm-up area. The red colorway on the insole and outsole is inspired by The Armory logo. And the crossover print references the center’s iconic roof.”
