Nike Air Zoom Maxfly 2 All

Designed for the 100- to 400-meter dash (hurdles races too), they combine an incredibly aggressive feel with the reactivity of an Air Zoom unit to propel the fastest sprinters on the planet. In the new Maxfly 2 version, the base and upper of the previous version have been updated to optimize the speed of the Air Zoom unit to help you fly to the finish line. This special design is inspired by the track at The Armory in New York, which hosts athletes of all levels.”

Behind the Design

Nike has taken inspiration from the original color of The Armory’s oval surface and painted it throughout the upper. The green accents are inspired by The Armory’s infield in the center of the court. The blue touches are based on the warm-up area. The red colorway on the insole and outsole is inspired by The Armory logo. And the crossover print references the center’s iconic roof.

Built for speed

Lighter and more reactive than the previous version, the shape and structure of the carbon fiber Flyplate offer increased propulsion. It helps you stay alert and minimizes deceleration.

Zoom, Zoom!

The Air Zoom unit in the forefoot features two chambers that provide propulsion and stability from takeoff to the finish line.

Stability for the straights

Has been removed the center spike from the original Maxfly and raised the platform on the toe side. This helps the spikes offer more stability on straights and in turns.

Secure fit

Nike Flyweave construction in the upper provides a secure, adaptive fit for different foot shapes.
