Nike Air Zoom Victory 2 – Proto

The best middle-distance athletes on the planet have tested and validated the Victory 2.

It incorporates all the speed components you need to break records, from a carbon fiber Flyplate to an Air Zoom unit and a lightweight, responsive ZoomX midsole.

Atomknit upper material and midfoot support cables combine with a supportive base to give the shoe added stability and control, especially in turns.

The support base, which focuses on maintaining stability, creates a wider flat area compared to the original Victory that appears at the bottom of the plate.

Nike have replaced the original model’s two studs with a four-nail design. In addition, Nike raised the lateral platform of the big toe so that the spikes offer more stability on straights and, especially, in turns.

The full carbon fiber Flyplate is designed to fit the base of the restraint system. Its shape and stiffness provide propulsion to keep you alert and minimize deceleration.

The new plate material is lighter and more reactive than the previous version. It also improves the durability of the outer traction plate.

AtomKnit material, an updated version of Flyknit, features a lightweight, anatomical fit and enhanced breathability. It works with a new Knit structure and midfoot support cables to offer an ultra-lightweight upper.

The Air Zoom unit in the forefoot has two chambers that provide propulsion and stability from take-off to the finish line.
